Shipping Policy

This policy explains our shipping practices within Egypt via Bosta courier.

3.1. Shipping Zones, Times & Fees

Free Shipping: Orders exceeding 3,000 EGP ship free anywhere in Egypt.

Cutoff Times: Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Cairo time) ship the same day; orders placed after may ship the next business day.

Exceptions: Remote areas (Sinai, Red Sea resorts, some oases) may take longer. In rare cases, we will notify you of any expected delay.

3.2. Order Processing

We process orders within 1–2 business days of payment. Peak season may require more time. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a Bosta tracking link.

3.3. Delivery Details

The shipping fee shown at checkout covers Bosta's courier service and insurance for your package's value. You or a designated person must be available to receive the package at the delivery address. If nobody is available, Bosta may leave a note for pickup or attempt redelivery. Please verify the package upon receipt. If the package is damaged or has been opened, do not accept it.

3.4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Inspection: Always check your order immediately. If the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, do not use it.

Reporting: Contact us within 3 days (email or WhatsApp) with your order number, a photo of the issue, and a description.

Resolution: If confirmed, we will arrange a full replacement at no charge, or a refund if replacement isn't possible. We will cover return shipping in this case.

3.5. Shipping Delays & Force Majeure

Delivery estimates can be affected by external factors (weather, strikes, curfews, etc.). We are not responsible for these delays. If a delay is expected, we will notify you. In case of force majeure events (e.g. pandemic lockdowns), deliveries may be suspended as per government directives.

3.6. Returns Shipping Responsibility

If you are returning an item for personal reasons (e.g. wrong choice), you must cover the return shipping. If the return is due to our error (wrong item or damage), we will send a prepaid return label or instruct the courier to pick up at no cost to you.


Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

We aim to provide a confident and seamless experience with every ATHAR purchase. Please review the policy below to understand your options clearly.

1. Try Before You Open (Risk-Reduced Experience)

With every 55ml bottle, you receive a complimentary 3ml tester of the same fragrance.

  • We recommend testing the 3ml sample first
  • Open the full-size bottle only if you are satisfied

This allows for a more informed and risk-aware purchase decision, especially as fragrance preference is subjective.

2. Return & Exchange Eligibility

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unused and unopened
  • The product remains in its original packaging (including box, labels, and accessories if applicable)
  • The item is in the same condition as delivered

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and product integrity reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened or used fragrance products
  • Samples or testers
  • Items marked as "non-returnable" on the product page

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives with an issue:

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the product and packaging

Once reviewed and verified, we will offer a replacement (if available), or a full refund. We may request additional information or arrange inspection before confirming the resolution.

5. Return Shipping Responsibility

Customer is responsible for return shipping in cases of:

  • Change of mind
  • Scent preference (fragrance not suitable)
  • Product no longer needed

ATHAR covers return shipping in cases of:

  • Incorrect item delivered
  • Missing items or accessories
  • Verified quality issues
  • Damage caused during shipping

6. Refund Method & Processing Time

Refunds are issued via the original payment method:

Bank processing times may vary and can take 7–14 business days. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item. It may take an additional 3–5 business days for the amount to appear in your account.

7. Shipping Fee Refunds

Shipping fees are refunded only if the return is due to incorrect items, missing items, or verified damage or quality issues. Shipping fees are not refunded in cases of change of mind, scent preference, or unverified claims after inspection. If no fault is found during quality inspection, the cost of returning the item to you may apply.

8. Quality Review & Claims Assessment

All quality-related claims are subject to review by our internal Quality Team. The team evaluates whether the issue qualifies as a verified quality concern. Requests may require photos, additional details, or product inspection. All decisions are made to ensure fairness and product integrity.

9. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact our support team with your order number and reason for return or exchange
  2. If eligible, you will receive return instructions
  3. Ship the item back according to the provided guidelines

10. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided they have not been shipped. Once the order has been processed or handed to the shipping provider, cancellation may not be possible.

11. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

To maintain operational efficiency:

  • Orders cancelled after 24 hours or after shipment dispatch may result in COD restrictions
  • Repeated order refusal without valid reason may lead to COD being disabled or future orders requiring prepaid payment

12. Policy Misuse

ATHAR reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases of misuse, including excessive returns, returning items not in original condition, or repeated order cancellations or refusal upon delivery. Actions may include limiting account activity or restricting certain services.

13. Incorrect or Unauthorized Returns

We are not responsible for items sent in error or products not originally purchased from ATHAR. Such items may not be returned or refunded.


Important Note: Fragrance is a personal product. We strongly recommend using the complimentary 3ml tester before opening your full-size bottle.
