1.1. Scope and Acceptance
Welcome to ATHAR Scents. By using our website, placing orders, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our other policies. We reserve the right to update the Terms at any time (see 1.13 Amendments). Your continued use implies acceptance of any changes.
1.2. Accounts and Account Security
To shop, you may create an account. Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
1.3. Orders and Pricing
Product Information: We describe fragrances and ingredients to the best of our ability, but actual scent may vary by skin chemistry. Always review product descriptions, notes, and texture details before purchasing.
Pricing: All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP), include applicable taxes (VAT), and are subject to change without notice. We strive to display accurate prices, but errors can occur. In case of an error, we will notify you before processing the order and offer you the option to reconfirm or cancel.
Order Confirmation: Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email acknowledges your order and its details, but does not constitute acceptance by ATHAR. We may accept or decline orders for any reason (e.g. inventory or pricing errors). If declined, you will not be charged.
1.4. Payment Methods
We accept Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payments (credit/debit cards, digital wallets, Instapay, etc.) via secure payment gateway. For COD orders, please have the exact amount ready at delivery (our courier does not always carry change). COD transactions may incur additional fees.

Note: Refunds use the same payment method as the original purchase. Timeline is the total processing time and may vary by bank or provider.
1.5. Cancellations and Modifications
You may cancel or modify an order before it ships by contacting us immediately (email or WhatsApp) with your order number. Once shipped, cancellation may not be possible. If you refuse delivery or fail to accept the order without valid reason, ATHAR reserves the right to cancel any COD privileges on future orders (per our Cash on Delivery Service policy).
1.6. Shipping & Delivery
Carrier: We ship domestically within Egypt via Bosta (fastest courier). Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment.
Delivery Times: Typical delivery is 1–3 business days to Cairo/Giza and 2–5 business days to other regions.
Tracking: Upon shipping, you will receive an email with a tracking link from Bosta. You can track your package on Bosta's website.
Shipping Fees: Fees depend on destination. Orders exceeding 3,000 EGP qualify for free shipping across Egypt. Otherwise, shipping fees are added at checkout.
Shipping Delays: Delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, holidays, strikes, or force majeure events (e.g. pandemics, wars, natural disasters). In such cases, we will notify you and make reasonable efforts to deliver as soon as possible.
1.7. Returns & Exchanges
Right to Return: Egyptian law grants consumers the right to return or exchange products within 14 days of receipt if unopened and in original condition. We honor this: you may return unopened perfume bottles within 14 days for a refund or exchange.
Condition of Returns: For safety and hygiene, only unopened, sealed products can be returned or exchanged. Opened bottles cannot be resold, so we do not accept them.
Return Procedure: To return an item, contact us to obtain a Return Authorization and follow our Return Instructions (see our Return & Refund Policy).
Return Shipping: Customers pay return shipping costs if returning for personal reasons (change of mind, wrong choice). We cover return shipping only if the item was damaged, defective, or incorrectly sent by us.
Refunds: Refunds are issued promptly once we receive and inspect the returned item. Refunds are in the original payment form. See Payment Methods & Refunds above for timeframes.
Note: We include a 3ml tester with every 55ml bottle so you can try the scent first. Use it to ensure satisfaction before opening the full bottle.
1.8. Liability and Disclaimer
Product Use: Our perfumes are crafted as Extrait de Parfum (high concentration). We do not guarantee any specific effect or reaction beyond what's stated. Individual experience may vary (skin type, weather, etc.). If you have severe allergies, consult ingredients before using.
Limitation of Liability: ATHAR is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to any product (e.g. allergic reactions, loss of business, etc.). Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
1.9. Intellectual Property
Content and Designs: All website content, images, branding, and product designs (including names like "ORBIT", "FOCUS", etc.) are owned by ATHAR or used with permission. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without our written consent.
Feedback and Reviews: By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant ATHAR a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submissions for marketing or website content.
1.10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites (payment gateways, social media, etc.). We do not control those sites; you use them at your own risk. We are not responsible for their content or policies.
1.11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to war, terrorism, strikes, natural disasters, or epidemics. In such events, performance will be suspended for the duration.
1.12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes will be resolved in Egyptian courts. If any provision is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, it will be severed without affecting the remainder of the agreement.
1.13. Amendments
ATHAR reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will post the revised version on our website with a new effective date. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
